ELDERS — Talk to an Elder

A proposed platform connecting elders in Canada with young people anywhere in the world over video for mentoring, advice, and cultural or language sharing.

Elders and small groups of two to four young people would be matched by shared language, culture, or interest and work through a structured six-to-eight-week series of sessions. It is built on the idea that elders are not just people needing help but a valuable resource for the wider community, and any support they give must be reciprocated through recognition, connection, or compensation.

This program has not been ratified. Nothing here is a promise, and no real elder or young person has been contacted about any part of it.
