TORONTOOS — TorontoOS

A proposed shared Toronto technology platform meant to give residents, city workers, and neighbours one trustworthy digital home instead of many disconnected logins and systems.

It imagines three connected platforms: city-operations tools for staff, a government-to-citizen platform (covering 311, open budgets, and resident input to the Mayor and Council), and a citizen-to-citizen platform for neighbours to organize mutual aid and local trade without a middleman company. It explicitly will never handle elections/vote-counting or emergency dispatch, and is built on six shared underlying building blocks covering identity, data permissions, interoperability, conversation summarization, value exchange, and applications.

This program has not been ratified. Nothing here is a promise, and no real city office or resident has been contacted about any part of it.
