VITALITY — The Health-Data Commons

A proposed shared, resident-owned system for health testing and health data in Toronto, replacing today's fragmented, disconnected records.

People would join voluntarily, contribute samples and measurements such as blood, genetic tests, or wearable data, and retain control over how that data is used, with any resulting value flowing back to participants rather than a company. It would be built in stages, starting small with an opt-in pilot and only growing toward a larger data trust or fund if trust and consent protections prove solid.

This program has not been ratified. Nothing here is a promise, and no real person's body, sample, or health data has been collected or used.
