What this page doesn’t cover yet

This ward’s research brief names these additional gaps, plainly, rather than guessing over them:

• A CBC News article on the 175/185 Cummer Ave. Ontario Land Tribunal decision (https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/willowdale-supportive-housing-fight-1.7073535) returned empty content on two separate fetch attempts. This was treated as an isolated single-URL fetch issue, not a full internet outage (every other fetch, including other toronto.ca and en.wikipedia.org pages fetched in the same window, succeeded on first attempt) — so the template's 60-second/6-retry protocol was not invoked. The City's own 185-Cummer project page was used as the primary source for that item's current status instead; the CBC angle (community/tribunal narrative detail) was not independently verified.
• Whether the Bayview branch library and Bayview Village Park sit inside or outside Ward 18 was not verified. Bayview Avenue is literally the ward's eastern legal boundary (§2), so facilities addressed on or near it cannot be assigned to this ward from a street address alone without a point-in-polygon check — the same geospatial-join gap named project-wide in the plan §6. Deliberately excluded from §5 rather than guessed.
• The City's own single-page facility listings for the North York Civic Centre / Douglas Snow Aquatic Centre, Mitchell Field Community Centre, and Willowdale Park did not render fetchable address/detail text (the pages appear to load their content via client-side JavaScript that this research's fetch tool did not execute); aggregator sources (Yelp, general web-search summaries) were used instead and flagged inline in §5. A follow-up pass should re-pull these three directly from toronto.ca with a tool that executes page JavaScript, or via the City's structured open-data facility datasets, rather than the HTML page.
• North York Mirror's current (2026) publication status — print, digital-only, or discontinued — was not independently confirmed beyond 2023-era reporting on Metroland's restructuring; a mediaincanada.com headline surfaced in search suggesting Metroland brought some titles back to print in 2026, but this brief did not fetch that article to check whether the North York Mirror was among them.
