Scarborough-Guildwood runs along Lake Ontario in southeast Scarborough, bounded by Highway 401 to the north, Morningside Avenue to the east, a stepped line along Markham Road/Bellamy Road/McCowan Road to the west, and the lake to the south — it takes in Guildwood, West Hill, Morningside, Woburn, and Scarborough Village. Its anchor point is the Guildwood GO station on Kingston Road, also a Via Rail stop, now the subject of a provincially led plan to build as many as six towers (up to 60 storeys) on the station's north parking lot — one of several mid- and high-rise proposals currently moving through Scarborough Community Council for this ward. The ward is also home to Guild Park and Gardens, a 50-acre heritage park on the Scarborough Bluffs built around a collection of architectural fragments salvaged from demolished downtown Toronto buildings.

The 100 organizations behind today's count are principally bulk City/CRA register rows — early-years childcare centres (54) and K-12 parent-council entries (39) foremost among them — captured registry-wide rather than through a ward-level search; 10 of the 100 carry `verified-live` status with an independently direct-fetched confirmation, and the rest are `seed-web-verified` — real organizations, not yet independently confirmed live or carrying a public website in this registry, so this brief does not list them individually as public doors the way a directly-verified organization would be.
